On Tuesday 11 May 2021, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm CET, the meeting “Strategies of the Port of Huelva to open up to the city” will take place. The initiative is promoted by RETE and the Port Authority of Huelva, which has recently joined the Association.
Thursday, April 15, from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. CET, will be held the online round table “Port cities of Campania region: towards a better integration”. The webinar is organised by RETE, the Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development (CNR IRISS) and the Municipality of Livorno, in collaboration with the Port System Authority of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea, the National Association of Italian Engineers and Architects (aniai Campania), the International Propeller Club Port of Naples and Campania Region.
Friday, March 19, from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. (CET) will be held the online roundtable entitled “Livorno: the ecosystem port-city-territory-community. Logistics, job and portuality: an innovative vision for the future”, organized by RETE in collaboration with the Municipality of Livorno and the Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR IRISS).
On March 18th-19th, from 10 a.m.to 12 p.m. UY (GMT -3), the webinar “Uruguay River, Cities, Ports and Waters”, will take place. The event is organised by RETE in collaboration with the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU), the Technological University (UTEC), the Economic Observatory Campus Saltus of the UCU and the University of Enterprise (UDE).
Friday 12 March 2021, Roberto Converti, architect and Vice President of RETE Latin America, will participate in the webinar "Port expansion: towards 500 years of Valparaíso".

As people have changed their consumption, travel, and lifestyle patterns, satellite photos show that environmental pollution in many cities (including prominent industrial port cities) is cleaning up. A progress that is urgently needed.
