The organisational structure of RETE is based the “network” model and is made up of institutions and people who joined the Association, acting as its “Operational Nodes“.
This innovative operational model is founded on two specific bodies: the “Local Nodes“, which include all RETE members, and the “Advanced Nodes“, which refer to members or groups of members with greater responsibilities when it comes to research and management initiatives. The highest deliberative body of RETE is the Council, composed of all the Members.
The Association is governed by the Board of Directors which is the executive body of RETE, in charge of programming, directing and taking care of the administrative and financial management of the activities for a two-year mandate. It is made up of the President, 2 Vice-Presidents and 6 members. It includes the Secretary General, the Director of the Scientific Committee and the Directors of the journals.
The activities are defined by an annual programme drawn up by theScientific Committee made up of renowned experts.
The day-to-day management of the Association is entrusted to the Administrative and Organisational Secretariat, which is also responsible for the communication and dissemination of the technical and scientific activities of RETE.
