The 35th RETE General Meeting will take place in Delft from 2 to 4 December 2021. The event is organized in collaboration with PortCityFutures, UFM and TU Delft University.
Teófila Martínez Saiz, President of RETE and President of the Port Authority of the Bay of Cadiz, and José García Fuentes, President of the Port Authority of Motril – Granada, are pleased to invite you to the Conference “Motril, open port”, which will take place on 15 October, from 9:30 to 12:30, as hybrid event, in person (Assembly Hall of the Blue Building, Port of Motril) and online.
On Wednesday 13 October Massimo Clemente, Director of CNR IRISS and Scientific Director of RETE, and Maria Cerreta, Professor of Quantity Surveying and Evaluation at the Department of Architecture (DiARC) of the University of Naples Federico II, and member of the Scientific Committee of RETE, will take part in Blue Economy Summit, which will be held from 13 to 16 October at the Genova Blue District.
RETE is a partner of Green Blue Days, a multiannual project-event for systemic sustainability, structured in the form of workshops and talks where you can listen and share experiences, propose solutions, study action plans to integrate the culture of Green and Blue in all aspects of life. The first edition, under the scientific coordination of the CNR IRISS, will take place in Naples at the monumental complex of San Domenico Maggiore from 13 to 15 October 2021.
Rinio Bruttomesso, founder and former President of RETE, and Roberto Converti, current Vice-President of RETE, will participate in the 5th Cycle of "Healthy Cities 2030", specially dedicated to Water Cities, where experiences from 9 cities in Europe and Latin America will be shared on 24 and 26 August.
On Monday 5 July, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Massimo Clemente, Director of the RETE Scientific Committee, will participate in the webinar "SEZs: an opportunity for the development of Southern Italy".

The 34th RETE Meeting, organised in collaboration with the Port Authority of Seville, will take place from 24 to 25 June 2021. The initiative aims to reflect on a new model of port-city integration capable of favouring coexistence based on the context of the urban port district of Seville and the ports of Andalusia. Special attention will be given to the theme of sustainable logistics and technological innovation.
On Tuesday 15 June, from 4.30 pm, the conference “Which governance for the future of the Italian ports”, organised by the Italian Geographic Society and RETE, will be held online.
On Tuesday 11 May 2021, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm CET, the meeting “Strategies of the Port of Huelva to open up to the city” will take place. The initiative is promoted by RETE and the Port Authority of Huelva, which has recently joined the Association.
