RETE is a partner of Green Blue Days, a multiannual project-event for systemic sustainability, structured in the form of workshops and talks where you can listen and share experiences, propose solutions, study action plans to integrate the culture of Green and Blue in all aspects of life. The first edition, under the scientific coordination of the CNR IRISS, will take place in Naples at the monumental complex of San Domenico Maggiore from 13 to 15 October 2021.
On Thursday 14th October RETE will be present at TALK 16 “Eco-system port city RETE: community, logistics, work and ports”. The destiny of the ports is inseparable from that of the cities and territories in which they are located. Never before have cities and ports been called upon to face common challenges, the outcome of which will depend to a large extent on the will to undertake programmes and actions aimed at shared objectives of competitiveness and social cohesion, that is to say the capacity to recognise and act as a single community. Circular economy, resilience, urbanisation, digitalisation and innovation are open fronts for the ports of the present and the near future, which affect urban contexts and reference territories in a synergic and strategic manner. These are challenges that must be tackled with innovative management tools and methods based on extended governance models, capable of fostering a more profitable operational relationship between the parties.
The session will be moderated by Barbara Bonciani, Councillor of the Port Authority of Livorno, member of the Governing Council and of the Scientific Committee of RETE. Participants will include: Massimo Clemente, Director of CNR Iriss and RETE Scientific Committee; Mario Sommariva, President of Adsp Mar Ligure Orientale; Laura Cimaglia, Vice President of Med Cruise and member of the RETE SC; Matteo Ignaccolo, University of Catania, RETE SC; Guido Benassai, Parthenope University; Giampaolo Vitali, CNR Ircres; Arturo Capasso, University of Sannio; Paolo Dario, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa; Michele A.
