The School of Public Administration of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the University of Valparaíso (Chile) has launched the admission process of a new edition of its academic program of Postgraduate and Courses in Sustainability of Port Cities.

In this academic initiative, RETE (Association for Collaboration between Ports and Cities) has been collaborating for two years as Institutional Sponsors. On these days, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between RETE and this Chilean university will be signed.

This diploma brings together various actors from port cities in a space for training, dialogue and proposal to make port cities more sustainable, with the aim of providing its participants with complementary knowledge and skills to those of their initial training or professional experiences, while favoring networking between people from the different sectors involved in port cities.

In the list of speakers is our vice president, Roberto Converti (Argentina), doctor in Architecture, Academic and professional with a vast experience in coastal border renovation projects in Latin America.

The engineering doctor Carola Hein, (Netherlands), director of Portus Plus (RETE Magazine), of the University, TU Delft, is also a professor, along with a long list of experts from several countries: Chile, France, Argentina, Spain, Colombia, Italy, Mexico and Venezuela.

This diploma has the collaboration of numerous institutions: Association for Collaboration between Ports and Cities (RETE), International Association of Port Cities (APV), Chilean Association of Port and Coastal Engineering and the Dutch universities TU Delft, Universiteit Leiden and Erasmus University of Rotterdam (Port City Future).
