The Port System Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea (Italy) has formalized its membership of RETE, Association for Collaboration between Ports and Cities, whose objective is to promote dialogue and coexistence between ports and cities, analyze and interpret the dynamics and phenomena that manifest themselves in their relationships, explore their horizons and draw visions and strategies that contribute to building their future.

The Ligurian Sea AdSP is chaired by Mario Sommariva and manages the ports of La Spezia and Marina di Carrara.

After the approval of this accession at the meeting of the Governing Council on June 30, the president of RETE, Teófila Martínez, has welcomed the new ordinary member, assuring that the entry of the AdSP “will contribute significantly to our activities and to the achievement of important results to favor an increasingly balanced, integrated and qualified development in urban and port areas”.
