RETE, Association for collaboration between ports and cities, has published number 44 of its digital magazine PORTUS, a biannual publication of international scientific reference in the knowledge of port cities, considered by experts as indispensable for the study and dissemination of works and experiences in the field of port-city relations and urban-port requalification initiatives.

The new issue of PORTUS includes a wide range of articles, sorted by sections, which carefully examine the evolution, transformations and trends emerging from the most dynamic port cities in the world. In this way, an interdisciplinary, rigorous and plural vision of the phenomena and processes that manifest themselves in them is offered.

The editorial is dedicated to the theme of technological innovation districts,  “under the protection of modern concepts involved in the digital revolution, artificial intelligence, robotics, the circular economy, etc. , and in an environment of cities and ports evolving towards the smart city-smart port concept, which finds in these unique port spaces an apparently ideal place for its implementation and development”, highlights the director of PORTUS, José Luis Estrada.

PORTUS is published in English as the main language, although some articles appear in other official RETE languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French.
