Pstrong and distinctive point of RETE is the presence of an International Scientific Committee, a consultative body of the Association whose main mission is to advise and guide the Board of Directors in the development of the strategic lines of activity.

Made up of a team of people with recognised expertise in the field of port-city relations, the Scientific Committee proposes the outline of RETE research, dissemination and training activities, promoting the collaboration with universities, research centres and other international associations interested in issues connected with the relationship between cities, regions and their ports.
