The aim of the webinar, the first of a series of 4 seminars to be held online between March and June, is to highlight the problems of the port-city ecosystem in the Italian context which arise in the macro-economic, social and legal-administrative fields – social alarm, pandemic, global dynamics, future governance – and to focus on possible solutions.
The webinar, moderated by Massimo Clemente, Director of the CNR IRISS and of the RETE Scientific Committee, and Barbara Bonciani, Councillor for Port and Port-City Integration of the Municipality of Livorno and member of the RETE Scientific Committee, will be attended by Olimpia Ferrara, Director of the SRM Maritime Office – Intesa Sanpaolo Group; Ivano Russo, Director General of Confetra, Italian General Confederation of Transport and Logistics; Mario Sommariva, President of the Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea Port System; Stefano Soriani, Professor of Economic and Political Geography at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and member of the Italian Geographical Society.
